Good Morning Nile Class! It was lovely to see lots of you on our Zoom call yesterday! That was our last one as we will be back in school next week. I will be emailing further information about our return to school, before the end of this week.

Happy Chinese New Year!
We really enjoyed guessing your animal clues yesterday and it was great to see so many of you!
Today is our last day of term! You have worked very hard this term and it has been lovely to see lots of your work. You all deserve a rest over the holidays (grown-ups as well as children!).
There is just one more day of learning - I have included some fun activities that you can do over the half-term if you would like too.
Mrs Churchill has uploaded an end-of-term assembly to the school website for you to watch and enjoy.

Good Morning Nile Class! I hope you have had a lovely weekend. This is our last week before we finish for half-term. We have Safer Internet Day tomorrow in which we will be doing some useful activities as part of our in-school and home-learning, plus we will be having our next Zoom call later in the week. I will be emailing you with further details about this. It was great to see so many of you last Wednesday : )

Writing Update Oak Academy
We reached 18 minutes on the video and will complete the lesson tomorrow.

Maths Update
We have got to the end of Q2 in class using the diennes (tens and ones) to set out correctly in preparation for vertical addition and make sure we count carefully and use number bonds to check.
We will continue the lesson tomorrow.

Next week our topic in English is SUPERHEROES.
We will attempt to make a POP UP BOOK and a BALLOON CAR.
Over the weekend, start collecting:
a variety of pop-up books, card, glue, scissors, sticky tape, round balloons, plastic straws, glue, kebab sticks or dowel, rubber bands, string, a selection of ‘wheels’ (such as cotton reels, wooden beads or cut out your own from cardboard,LEGO®).
It's going to be fun!
